Gardner Village
Jen and I took the boys to Gardner Village today to enjoy some of this beautiful fall weather we've been having! They each went on a pony ride and ran around the petting zoo playing with the goats, sheep, chickens, and one pot bellied pig- they had a blast! We then walked around the village to look at all of their Halloween decorations they have on display. The boys loved all the witches and Jen and I loved all the cute fall displays which are perfect for taking pictures! We ended the afternoon by getting a special fall treat at the bakery- cookies and doughnuts! What a fun way to spend an afternoon with my boys!

Jen's baby shower
I threw my sister a baby shower yesterday afternoon. The weather was perfect, and it was so nice to see our friends and family, even my mom came up from St. George to attend. Jen received TONS of presents, I love all the cute little "girly" things she received, this baby already has a closet full of clothes waiting for her! Now that the shower is over, we just have a month to wait until we get to meet little baby Kensley!

Fun at the park
It's funny that's sometimes it's the simplest things that make my boys happy, such as stopping at the park to have lunch on the way home from grocery shopping the other day. It gets rid of pent up energy they have and I love to watch them climbing and sliding all over. What am I going to do when the weather gets cold and we are stuck indoors again? I just know that I will be enjoying these last days of late summer-early fall until then!

I just figured out how to post slideshows of the pictures I take all month long. Here is the one from last month.

Park City
We enjoyed a day in Park City this past Sunday. It was absolutely beautiful there, perfect weather, and the leaves are already starting to change colors! Logan and Anthony had a blast on the Alpine Slide and coaster, and Sawyer was happy he got to ride a horse on the merry-go-round. We ended the day with lunch and a nice ride home. How lucky we are that we live so close to the mountains and can enjoy some fresh mountain air anytime!

School Days
Logan started his second year of preschool last Wednesday at Hilltop. He is in the same classroom as last year, but with a new teacher, Miss Jeni. She said he was a little quiet, and a great listener, and had a fun time playing with his friend, Bode, who was in his class last year. Sawyer had his first day of "school" today, I have him signed up for Mother's Morning Out every Monday. He was so excited this morning to walk to class wearing his Diego backpack. He walked right into the classroom and just stood there taking it all in and watching all the other kids cry. His teachers said that he shed a few tears, but he was having fun playing outside when I went to pick him up. So far the hardest thing for the boys has been waking up early in the morning to get ready for school. The days of sleeping in are over!

BOONDOCKS
I decided to spend the last day before school starts by surprising the boys with a day of fun at Boondocks with the Vincents. Logan loved riding the gocarts with mom, even though Uncle Scott and Maddox's car was faster and beat us! He also played miniature golf for the first time and got a hole in one on the first hole! Sawyer enjoyed just running around and "playing" all of the video games. He also climbed to the very top at the climbing gym but he needed a little help finding his way back down. I can't believe how fast this summer went and that preschool is starting tomorrow. My boys are growing up so fast, I wish I could just freeze time and have everyday be like today was!
