This year for Logan's birthday he said he wanted to have a Halloween Birthday Party with a Haunted House, so that is what we did. Anthony and Logan spent a month working in the basement to make one of the rooms into a spooky haunted house. They had so much fun and put so much work into it, we've decided to keep it up and use it every year. We invited Logan's neighborhood friends-Hunter, Gracie, Indy, Isabella, and Kendyl, and cousins to come, and they all dressed up in their costumes.

Happy Birthday Logan!
Every year on the boys birthday, I make a photo montage from pictures I have taken the past year to share with my family. I love to see how much they change in a year and enjoy looking back at all they have accomplished. Logan was born October 29, 2003 and weighed 9lbs 8oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. I can hardly believe it has been five years now, in a way it seems like yesterday, but it also seems like forever ago. I can't image my life without Logan, he has brought so much enjoyment to our household. This year Logan learned how to write the alphabet and can spell a few words, perfected riding his bike, had to get stitches in his chin not once but twice in one month, learned how do flips on his trampoline, played tball and soccer, and made some great friends. I look forward to the coming year, and wonder what experiences it will bring for Logan. Happy Birthday Logan, we love you!!! Enjoy Logan's photo montage-age 4.

Hogle Zoo
We took advantage of this beautiful fall weather and took a trip to the zoo today. I have always loved the zoo, and I really enjoy taking the boys there a few times a year. I had been wanting to go for awhile since I wasn't able to make it in the spring when Logan took a field trip there. This time of year is perfect to see the animals because they are all so active, and it being a Sunday, it wasn't crowded at all. Logan enjoyed the reptiles the most, and Sawyer seemed to like the giraffes the best. We all took a ride on the train and ended the day at the playground.

Baby Kensley's here!
Jen had her baby girl, Kensley Saige, tuesday afternoon! She weighed 7lbs 120z, and was 19in long, pretty big considering Jen seemed so much smaller this time! She has a full head of black hair, she likes to suck her fingers and pacifier, and she has the cutest cry, although I'm sure Jen and Scott won't agree at two in the morning! I am so glad I was able to see them at the hospital before I went into work that night, and I even got to video her first bath! They are planning on coming home today, so I'm sure I will be posting many more pictures!

Pumpkin Festival
This past weekend we went to the Herriman pumpkin festival at Butterfield Park. The best part was the boys were able to dress up in their Halloween costumes, Logan was a ninja and Sawyer was an elephant. We went with our neighbors and enjoyed free cookies and hot chocolate. They had some fun activites for the kids, all which involve candy of course. We had to let them all run around for awhile in a field chasing each other just to burn the sugar off!

Cornbellies
Every year we take the boys to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point-Cornbellies. They have so many fun things for young kids to experience. They have a huge corn maze, which we didn't do this year because it is so long and takes forever, but they did ride on the "cow train" and jump around on the huge bouncy trampoline. Logan even got the nerve to walk through the scary lizard-haunted of course- which he regreted as soon as he started. He says he'll go through it again when he is seventeen! Sawyer's favorite part was watching the "singing chicken show" and just having the freedom to run around. Although we all got a little chilly towards the end of the night, I think we all had a great time!

Pumpkin Patch
I found a pumpkin patch by our house where I took the boys to pick out their pumpkins today. They had so much fun climbing on all the tractors they had there, and they both enjoyed walking through the corn maze, although Logan admitted he was a little scared. They had hundreds of pumpkins to choose from and had areas set up with hay and corn perfect for picture taking. It is sure to be a yearly tradition to go here to pick out our pumpkins each year!
