In spite of being snowed in, getting stuck in the snow on my way home from work Christmas morning, and Sawyer and I being sick, we all had a great Christmas. Logan was so patient to wait for me to get home in the morning to open his presents- he was so surprised that Santa actually left him some presents because he has been somewhat "naughty" lately. We had to wake Sawyer up, which made him grumpy opening presents- he wouldn't open anything and he wouldn't let us open them for him but once he saw all the toys that Logan was getting he lightened up a bit. The rest of the day was spent putting toys together and playing with everything. The boys loved all their presents-thanks everyone!-and we had a nice relaxing day-except for Anthony who had to plow our huge driveway not once but twice which was covered with four foot snow drifts, and to dig out his truck so he could go to work today! Unfortunately we didn't make it over to the Vincents for dinner, but will do that this weekend so the cousins can exchange their gifts with each other. Overall, I'd say Christmas 2008 was a success!

Holiday Pictures of the boys
I took some pictures of the boys a few weeks ago in the hopes there would be a couple I could use to send out in my Christmas cards. I had wanted to get some professional pictures taken of them in a studio, but had to settle with a homemade studio I set up in our family room. They actually both cooperated for a few minutes (with threats and bribes) and I was able to take a few good ones!

PJ Party with the Vincent Family
We had our annual pajama party with the Vincent's this weekend. This is our third year doing this and Logan looks forward to having it every year. We all put on new pajamas and headed over to Scott and Jen's where we had some appetizers and let the kids play. We all grabbed some popcorn, coffee and warm eggnog, then loaded up and headed over to Thanksgiving Point to look at their holiday lights- they had very creative light displays there. Afterwards, we went back to Jen's where we watched a holiday movie. This year we watched "Fred Claus"-very cute!! It's so fun to have all the kids together and watch them play with each other. We all had a fun night-thanks guys!!!
Visit with G-Ma and G-Pa "K"
My mom and Stan braved the wind and snow and took a quick trip up to visit this past week. The boys were so excited to have them here! Grandpa taught Logan how to play pool, we built a gingerbread house, and we all went to Logan's Christmas program at school where we watched both Logan and Maddox perform-great job guys (preschoolers are sooo cute!). All the boys (and baby girl) got to open a pre-Christmas gift from grandma and grandpa-new pajama's that they can all wear Christmas Eve! Logan was so sad to see grandma and grandpa go that he cried half the day, and Sawyer ran to get his coat and shoes so that he could go home with them!
A Tedesco Family Dance
We've been so busy this holiday season, but I did find some time to put this dance together for us. It took awhile to teach Jake and Anthony, but Logan and Sawyer caught on really fast. Let me know what you think!

November 2008
Can you believe Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is just around the corner?! I feel so blessed this year to have two wonderful boys who are growing and healthy, a loving home, and a job which I enjoy. We had a nice Thanksgiving here at home this year. I had worked the night before, so Anthony was in charge of the cooking, and he redeemed himself from last year when he burned the turkey-this year it turned out wonderful! Logan ended up having the stomach flu that day so he had no desire to eat a Thanksgiving meal, and Sawyer fell asleep just as we were going to eat, so needless to say I have tons of leftovers! We are looking forward to enjoying December, and maybe we will have snow for Christmas Eve, if only spring could come January 1.

Sawyer's "Melmo" birthday party!
We celebrated Sawyer's second birthday by throwing him an Elmo Birthday Party, and we invited our family to come and help us celebrate. Of course he loved all of the elmo decorations and balloons, and had a yellow balloon tied to his wrist all day long. He quickly learned how to open his presents, he had to be fast though or his "helpers" (Logan, Maddox, and Parker) would step in to take over! Parker kept asking if it was Christmas, and if so where were his presents! Sawyer loves all of his new toys, in fact he wouldn't let his new car go and ran it along side and into his birthday cake while we sang "Happy Birthday"! I can hardly believe it was just two short years ago I was bringing Sawyer home from the hospital. I didn't realize how big he was until I saw him next to baby Kensley and he looks so much like a little boy now. We are looking forward to this next year and watching Sawyer's personality really develop!

Sawyer turns two!
The day has come when my "baby" isn't considered a baby anymore. Sawyer has turned two years old and we can hardly believe how fast it has gone. In the past when Sawyer will see a picture of himself he points to it and says "baby". Part of it is my fault because I started calling him that when he was born and it has just stuck, so I still catch myself saying "I have to go get baby". Now, when I ask Sawyer if he is a baby he will shake his head no and when I ask if he is a big boy, he just gets a big grin. Little does he know that I will always consider him my "baby"! Here are some pictures of Sawyer taken this past year, it's amazing to watch him turn into a little boy. Enjoy!!!

October 2008
By far, October is our busiest month of the year, hence the hundred or so pictures I have taken! We all love this time of year, and there is just so much going on we try to do it all before the snow starts! We were so lucky this year that Halloween was on a warm night, the boys had so much fun trick-or-treating! We are looking forward to Sawyer's birthday next week, then it will be Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.....
